Definition of Alpha Release

One-liner: Most of the mechanisms I mention here are subjected to change, based on the feedback/actual performance from HMDT community. I know it might be a little complicated to grasp at the beginning. Shoot me your questions in DC if you have any!

1. A protocol that holders pay NOTHING, need NO gas-required operations on their end, and get ETH winnings from an algorithmic-trading mechanism (aka HMDT Algo-Bot)

2. Daily HMDT Algo-Bot Performance Analysis Stream on Twitter and Discord

3. Initial deposit is funded by community vault; Loss (if any) is covered by community vault; ETH winnings is split by community vault and selected holder

Let me reiterate: My goal is building a community, not an NFT project or two. I find it disgusting that some ‘alpha’ callers use their own community as exit liquidity. A community should never be misled in this manner as that is not how a community should work.

IMO the community and the project should have aligned interests, and a zero-sum game should never happen between the two. So, how can a community grow by actually benefiting its holders? The answer is obvious: creating real value (versus aimless pump & dump). Here is what I prepared for HMDT community: HelpMePrintETH.

Core Infrastructure

Several Machine Learning models (mostly transformer-based) and a bunch of automatic trading bots on crypto/NFTs, based on the rationale/signals they receive from these models. Trading includes both the primary market (aka minting) and the secondary market. Some human interventions are needed at current level.

Terminology

Debog cycle: the time period that a selected holder earns from the HMDT algo-bot

Halp point ($HP): an ERC-20 token or equivalent that a holder uses to get selected

Debog wallet: The wallet created for the selected holder that executes HMDT algo-bot during the Debog cycle

Methodology

All the numeric values here are not given, and only for illustration purposes.

1. Holders (only HelpMeDebugThis[HMDT] holders for now) can use their $HP to bid on positions in the upcoming Debog cycle. There are three ways to get selected for HelpMePrintETH (all the selected holders will be determined prior to each Debog Cycle). Holders can use their $HP to bid on positions and/or enter into the raffle for the upcoming Debog cycle:

   • (50%) Bidding: TopX holTheir balance will be reduced by a certain amount of $HP, where the exact amount is defined as the lowest bidding amount of $HP among these TopX holders.

   • (40%) All-holder Raffle: All the holders will have the equal probability to get selected once their $HP exceeds the threshold (this threshold will be lower than $HP median/mean over the entire holder distribution), in order to cover most of our holders

   • (10%) Engagement Group: The most engaged HMDT holders on Twitter/DC will be added to the engagement group. 2 deboggers from the engagement group will be selected holders for each Debog cycle. Current downtime for each selected holder: 1 Debog Cycle (meaning if you get selected in this group for this debog cycle, you cannot get selected for this group in the next debog cycle).

2. Each non-listed HMDT NFT will gradually earn its holder $HP. Rarity/specific trait will have a bonus in $HP gaining rate (the bonus is subjected to change based on certain events).

3. A certain amount of ETH will be deposited in a new Debog wallet from the community vault, the exact amount depending on multiple metrics (e.g. consumed $HP, staking period).

4. Debog wallet Merge: If the deposit is less than 0.05 ETH, Debog wallets will be merged into a mega Debog wallet that meets the criterion, and the holders of those individual Debog wallets will share the ETH winnings from this mega wallet.

5. Post-cycle distribution: At the end of each Debog cycle, if there is a loss, the HMDT community vault will cover 100% of that loss; if there is a ETH winning, 40% of it goes to the selected holder, and the remainder goes to the community vault.

6. $HP are transferrable, and will be tradable once everything goes smooth.

Proof of Concept

Over the past week, I tested the prototype and here is want I got: This definitely needs to be tested along the line.

I still cannot come up with a good zero-knowledge proof for HelpMePrintETH, so I am going to use the following approaches to do the similar thing until I (or someone else) have a better idea:

1. I will do a daily HMDT Algo-Bot Performance Analysis Stream on Twitter and Discord, revealing the first four digits of the Debog wallet address + its current balance of it.

2. After a month, the Debog wallet address will be revealed. You can check all the txns by then.

1. This is the alpha test, and the algorithm might send out more false positive signals than it should. But reassure the community vault covers ALL THE LOSS.

2. Once again, as this is the alpha test, I hope to get feedback from as many participants as possible. So each holder will only be eligible for one entry during one Debog cycle. Rest assured. This restriction will be lifted up in the future. Save as many $HP as possible fam!
